Thanks to intelligent design details, Curling functions both as a downlight and a ceiling light and is perfectly suitable for public spaces as well as private interiors.

CURLING Ceiling comes in three different sizes, with a hand-blown glass shade or a shade with a harder-edge look made of acrylic glass. The delicate glass body is available in either opal, transparent or as a transparent outer shell with a conical or cylindrical inner reflector.

Clever: A special optical insert, attached below the light source with two small magnets, allows for ideal light distribution and soft, glare free light. It is precisely this interplay of sophisticated design details which enables Curling to create a perfectly tailored light atmosphere for any interior situation.

The acrylic glass version extends the range of CURLING’s uses and means it can be optimally used in schools, kindergartens, stairwells and other paths in semi-public and public spaces.

Going beyond conventional product categories, CURLING Ceiling demonstrates the full grasp of what a ceiling luminaire can offer today. Whether as a single luminaire in a private living space, in a row along a corridor or in an entrance hall, CURLING Ceiling provides sustainable, low-maintenance technology paired with brilliant light. Choose whichever version is suitable for your interior: combine a downward directed light cone either with soft light, evenly dispersed throughout the room or general light which is distributed throughout the space. Since Curling is equipped with a standardised replacement system, LEDs can be easily renewed. At an average use of 6 hours per day, this will only be the case after roughly 10 years.
