The Inna armchair was designed in 1982 by student designer Pentti Hakala. Manufactured by Inno-tuote Oy, Finland. This minimalist chair was designed to be assembled by the first buyer. Materials are steel and plywood. Sprung castors on the back of the base allow for natural flexibility and prevent the chair from scratching the floor when moving. The headrest is adjustable. The cover was designed by textile artist Irma Kukkasjarvi. The Inna chair received an honourable mention in the 1982-1983 Finland Designer Exhibition. Sculptural and architectural design.
