The architect, interior designer, and creator of furniture fabrics and wallpapers, Helmut Magg, joined Wilkhahn in the early 1950s. In the post-war period, Wilkhahn produced furniture for the Deutschen Werkstätten, Hellerau, primarily made from domestic materials, especially wood. The designs were successfully featured at the INTERBAU in Berlin and the 1958 World Expo in Brussels.
