Balder’s Hage reinterprets Ingrid Dessau’s long-pile rug from the 1960s, selected from Kasthall’s archive for its enduring relevance and striking quality. Redesigned by Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg, the original woven construction was transformed into a tufted rug in wool and linen, giving rise to the distinctive moss-like expression. The result is a design that bridges eras through material intelligence and tactile presence.
