The Swiss Hans Georg Bellmann was also a Bauhaus student and later a professor at the Ulm University of Design (HfG). His architectural background is evident in his design of the practical lounger. Clear functionality and strict lines characterize this timeless piece of furniture. The seat can be widened by about 40 cm by gently pulling it forward, making it perfect for a nap or as a guest bed. The seat and back are upholstered, and the wooden frame was made from a combination of cherry and teak.
