Robert and Trix Haussmann are one of Switzerland's best-known architect and designer couples and have left their mark on living culture both in Switzerland and internationally for several decades. They designed this swivel armchair for Expo 70, which took place in the Japanese city of Suita. The gray leather armchair with a flat, round seat and rounded backrest is supported by a cross base made of chrome-plated round steel and was manufactured by the Hindermann upholstery workshop in Zurich.
