“Filamento sprung from the observation of how light passes through glass,” explain the designers. “We realised that concave and convex shapes, combined with a specific light source, could generate a visible filament of light. The shape is not aesthetic in itself — it is the means by which the effect exists.”

Filamento is designed to make light itself the defining element of a space. Its carefully calibrated geometry guides light through concave and convex surfaces, transforming it into a linear, almost immaterial presence. When illuminated, the object visually recedes, allowing the light to take centre stage. At the same time, it functions as a modular system — adaptable from a single sculptural piece to larger architectural compositions — offering flexibility across both residential and contract environments.
