Floor-ceiling light, mod. LT8

LT8 was conceived in 1954 for Borsani’s new bourn company Tecno, that would come to revolutionize the world of contract furniture, and presented at the X Triennale in Milan. In 1957 the design of LT8 was deposited by Tecno S.p.A. as an ornamental and utility model to the Patent Office. In Astep’s reedition the fluorescent tubes have been updated with an embedded dimmable LED module. The design is as flexible as it is beautiful. You can direct the light source in any angle and orient it to where you want against the wall. The lamp comes in two heights 2300-2900mm and 2900-3500mm to fit a wide range of spaces, public and private. Alone it stands as a sculpture, in pairs it becomes a landscape of light.

Protect Your Purchase: A Note on Authenticity

Be aware of unauthorized imitations circulating globally, both online and through various physical retailers — some even misusing the Astep brand name. In the current digital landscape, online searches frequently prioritize these knock-offs and "dupes" above original content. This makes it easy for worthless imitations to hide behind a prestigious reputation, often appearing at the very top of your search results.

Although a lower price may be tempting, a counterfeit is a poor investment. Unlike authentic design pieces, its resale value drops to zero the moment you purchase it. True sustainability lies in longevity; authentic originals are built to stay appreciated across generations, whereas counterfeits inevitably end up as waste.

When you buy a knockoff, you are the primary victim. You are paying for a worthless product that lacks the structural integrity, safety certifications, and longevity of an original. Furthermore, your choice directly impacts the creator; counterfeits deprive designers of their rightful royalties. By choosing authentic Astep products, you ensure that the creative minds behind these icons are fairly compensated and that their legacies are preserved.

To guarantee your peace of mind and ensure you are investing in real value, bypass unauthorized advertisements and purchase exclusively through Astep’s official dealers via the link on this page.
