Created in 2002, the structure of the Iporanga Chair is of solid wood. The seat and lower portion of the backrest are cushioned for greater comfort. It was named after the beach of Iporanga, in the southern portion of the coast of São Paulo. In the Tupi language, “I” means river, and “Poranga” means beautiful. The piece was reedited by ETEL in 2012, as part of the Atelier line.
