Korn by Cecilie Manz is a flatwoven rug in a broken twill structure. A specially developed wavy-effect yarn, with wool and linen threads running in parallel, gives the surface a sense of movement and material depth. The linen remains visible on the surface, highlighting its natural beauty and introducing a gentle lustre that enhances the rug’s texture without overt contrast.

Fact-based, measurable, and continuously improving sustainability work:
Sustainability and social responsibility have been part of Kasthall's operations since 1889. Today, the company's sustainability work is structured through measurable targets, documented performance, and systematic due diligence across its value chain.
As a manufacturer of woven and tufted rugs, Kasthall recognizes that its environmental and social impact extends beyond its own production facilities. A significant share of this impact occurs upstream – in fiber production, spinning, dyeing, and transport. The company's responsibility therefore includes both operational performance and active supplier engagement.
Durable craft:
Kasthall creates rugs designed to last, shaped by Swedish craftsmanship.
Conscious consumption:
Kasthall contributes to conscious consumption through documented sustainability credentials.
Maintaining a woven, tufted, or wall-to-wall carpet from Kasthall is essential for preserving its appearance, durability, and long-term performance.
Regular vacuuming is the most effective, economical, and environmentally friendly method for everyday care, while removing dirt and stains helps prevent fiber wear and keeps colors looking fresh.
Light, solid-color rugs generally require more frequent attention than darker, patterned designs.
Following appropriate maintenance routines, as seen in the Care and Cleaning guide, ensures that Kasthall rugs in both private and professional environments retain their shape, quality, and beauty for many years.
All Kasthall rugs are made from natural fibers, so slight variations in color, texture, and dimensions may occur between yarn batches.
