The series is based on a single circular lamp model, made of different marble and onyx materials that modify its essence and luminous effect.

Meti consists of a perfectly shaped monolithic disc of marble or onyx which is placed on the wall or ceiling, using a metal cylinder placed on the back, where the light source is contained. The hidden cylinder allows the stone disc to maintain a slight distance from the wall.

The light in the marble version is screened by the disc and emitted indirectly onto the surrounding wall with an eclipse effect

The onyx version allows light to filter through the material, generating a luminous effect reminiscent of the moon’s silhouette.

The Meti pure form and abstract and “spatial” light images it generates on the wall recall Methis, the powerful Greek goddess, mother of Athena, who was associated with the intelligence that changes and transforms everything.
