The well balanced standard luminaire TYPE 600 has been designed and manufactured in 1951 by Rosmarie and Rico Baltensweiler for their own use. The innovative technology and the timeless design of TYPE 600 were successful and led to the establishment of the company. Since 1951, the lamp is distributed in exclusive furnishing houses and specialised shops, in the past in series of 100 to 500 pieces, today for lovers of design in smaller series.

Due to the great demand and for the 60-year anniversary of the company Baltensweiler in 2011, we reproduced the TYPE 600 in its original form in a limited edition.
