CUPBOARD LOVE is a small, elaborately crafted bar cabinet. An exclusive one-off piece that was shown at the Wallpaper* Handmade X anniversary exhibition at the Salone dei Tessuti in Milan and was developed and built exclusively for this occasion. During Milan Design Week, Wallpaper* Handmade X presented a series of unique pieces created in collaboration between designers, artists and architects and the best craftsmen, makers and manufacturers.
In keeping with the theme with Love, the design duo Lekker from Sigapur developed the Cupboard Love with ZEITRAUM. "We are fascinated by couples, especially strange ones," say Ong Ker-Shing and Joshua Comaroff. The minibar consists of two contrasting halves made entirely of solid wood, fused together to create a masterpiece of craftsmanship. ZEITRAUM helped develop this tricky masterpiece and produced it as an exclusive one-off.
