The “Vegetal” chairs were designed by the brothers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra in 2008. Their aim was to create a piece of furniture that combines the look of natural vegetation with stability and seating comfort. The chair's flat struts branch out asymmetrically on three levels to form a seat shell that forms an irregular circle. This creates a unique aesthetic reminiscent of plants.
