The two blown opaline glass spheres are gently held in place by two Black, or Champagne, painted steel rings. Each ring has a small cut, enabling the spheres to be placed facing downward or upward and thus providing a direct or indirect light composition. Model 237/2 features two 14 cm diameter spheres, whereas the spheres of the model 238/2 are larger, measuring 20 cm in diameter.
