Lukas Peet

Lukas Peet’s design vocabulary did not emerge from a pristine studio, but rather from the tactile reality of a goldsmith’s workshop in the rugged topography of Canmore, Alberta. Raised in the Canadian Rockies, Peet was introduced to the rigors of craftsmanship at an early age through his father, Rudi Peet, who was a jeweler and goldsmith. Peet and his brother were encouraged to freely manipulate materials, often sculpting wax objects that their father would subsequently cast in silver and gold.
